At least a third of SoCal drivers have narcissistic tendencies or anger management issues that should prevent them from having a drivers license.
I had some guy who apparently wanted his car where mine was. He starts merging even though the space was occupied. His passenger says something (presumably, “careful!” o r somesuch) so he looks over, makes eye contact, and turns the wheel directly towards me.
It’s been a long week, Oppo. How you been?

I am 100% certain that people would rather kill themselves and someone else than wait in traffic for another second, or have some courtesy. All you can be thankful for is that you don’t live there.

I don’t think you will get a lot of disagreement. Here in the Great Plains it feels like pe opl e have gotten very distracted and impatient when driving.

th e 405 is the most insane freeways I’ve ever been on on my life and I drive the 8 0, 5, and the 101 frequently. It’s just a battle zone out there.

I have experienced that a couple times around Chicago ... People are turrible.

I generally love my job but the last few weeks have been awful at work . But tonight I w ent to a charity boxing match with Mrs Snuze and it was fun. Tomorrow is my birthday and Im taking the day off and spending it working on the 8-Fiddy!

Ooh yeah, tried propane, no bueno .
Im just stuck on separating the ball joint and the a-arm now on one side , its off from the steering knuckle on both the sides. Some more elbow grease should get it off.

I hate people like that. Only got Sandy back two weeks ago after some idiot in a Volvo wanted to occupy the same time and space as Sandy. Took five weeks to get the part from Czechia, then three weeks of dithering from the body repair shop while they find a courtesy car (insurance had been told the repairers were giving us a courtesy car and so told not to g et a hire car, unfortunately seven weeks in, when asked if we could get the hire car because the body shop were having a hard time finding a courtesy car, were told we should of asked sooner and would have to wait for the body shop to get a courtesy car).
They gave us a sodding Ford KA+.
((this one from a previous occasion))
Then Sandy’s ‘SOS’ system acted up, took it to Skoda who gave us this Skoda Fabia 1.0MPi courtesy car for a few hours.
Turned out, the mechanics after doing the repair, should of got an engineer to reset Sandy’s electronics.
If it’s not people being able to drive properly, it’s people not doing their job properly.
Thankfully I kept entertained and cleaned the Fabia for a few hours.

They’re worse than Denver, for sure. We have our share of idiots, but they seem to be more ignorant/ stupid than outright violent towards others.

Ugh, that’s a mess. If I had been in my own car I might have let this guy go for it (I would 100% have a dash cam if I lived in California) but it’s too much of a headache with the rental car. The YouTube famous yellow SUV driver would definitely have had an accident.

I try to keep calm with this mantra I say to myself (or out loud) several times a day.
‘You can’t cure stupid’. It’s helps in the most part.
